Personal OutsourcingAll business owners know about and understand outsourcing. Personally, I receive several calls per month from individuals who's English skills are limited to reading the carefully authored words before them. A simple rhetorical query to the extent of "we like to meet with our clients, can you do that for us?" sends them off into a dizzy of confusion. Seconds later, you get a sense of déjà vu as the call resets itself, and word for word the original script is repeated in whole.
The language barrier is not the issue I wish to draw attention to. Instead, I'd like to point out a new level of outsourcing, one that all can make use of. Business owner or not.
I am of course referring to personal outsourcing. Just what the heck is personal outsourcing? Well, you know that wedding album your cousin asked you to make? Turns out for a few bucks you can have someone else do the work for you. Need a math tutor for your children? Skip the criminal record check, and save enough money for a summer vacation by hiring offshore help.
I'm not sure where it all ends, but I've hired someone in Russia to help me come up with a list of daily tasks that loan themselves to outsourcing. This article that you're reading, I didn't write it thanks to... you guessed it! More outsourcing. Isn't life wonderful?
